SVA Associates is led by Sanjeev Vinod Agrawal, an architect-entrepreneur with a successful 30 year record in establishing and running businesses across multiple sectors, cultures, and geographies.
Having established the practice while in the second year of his architecture studies at CEPT, his entreprenurial journey has led him to design luxurious villas, woking as a turn-key contractor with the biggest banks & corporates in India, through being an organic farmer-producer, to setting up 24k gold jewellery business in UAE & Switzerland, to finally being a design & business consultant interfacing between India & Switzerland.
Poonam Jolly was born in Jullunder, India in 1965. After graduating from Centre of Environmental Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad in 1990, she began her architectural explorations throughout India.
Her journey took her working in the Rajasthan Desert on conservation of Ahichhatragarh Fort at Nagaur, a Paul Getty funded project which eventually won the Unesco Award for excellance in Architecture in 2002.
She has worked on various residences and Offices. She is a visiting faculty at CEPT, Ahmedabad.
Tarun Mittal was born in 1974 into the fourth generation of a family of MES contractors. After finishing his BE (Civil) in 1988, he has actively participated in the growth of his family business.
Their principal firm, Suraj Infracon, is an S Class firm, with annual turnover of more than INR 150 crores.
He has successfully completed more than 80 projects in the last 15 years, including defence forces’ admin & residential buildings, firing ranges, missile sheds, sports complexes including swimming pools & squash court, OHWT upto 200,000 ltrs capacity, etc.
Celine Aude Burgy, born in 1989, completed her Matura from College Ste-Croix in Fribourg. She then completed her studies as ‘Project Architect’ from ESAR Lausanne, and is currently pursuing a degree as Management Assistant while also working in the retail sector.
She is very much interested in the interplay between design and management as applied to the running of a business and looks forward to helping Indian suppliers of interesting products find a space in the Swiss market.
Jheel Tanna, a graduate of the Navrachna University, School of Environmental Design and Architecture is in charge of Projects.
Her great concern for the environment, a fine understanding of design, coupled with her penchant for management & problem solving make her the go-to person in SVA.
